Senior Thesis - The Gospel Story
I love helping people understand the Bible and God, usually that happens verbally, through conversation and discussion. However, I wanted to help people understand visually; to look at the story of the Bible in a way they haven't before. To do this I created a series titled “The Gospel Story”, 6 pieces telling the narrative of the Bible using my own visual language/style.
Deck Appeal Magazine
Publication Design
Deck Appeal Magazine was an assignment to create a publication from concept to final product. We were provided the raw copy and desired images to be used, but the page layout and editorial design were left up to us.
Inspired by the shape of modern decks and outdoor spaces, and the angular theme of the decks and yards pictured in the magazine, I went with a modern and angular aesthetic. Accentuating the organic nature surrounding the pictured decks by framing them and providing structure.
Mediterranean Cookbook
Publication Design
This was an assignment to create a layout for the cookbook "Cooking the Mediterranean Way". We were provided the raw copy and desired images to be used, but the page layout and editorial design were left up to us.
Cookbooks above all need to be clear, concise and legible; with a clear focus on the images of the food, as people eat with their eyes. Each recipe was given a full page with a clear and minimal design to ensure clarity. Bold splashes of color and adjacent full page images of the food were used to create dynamic spreads and get the readers excited for what they are cooking.

During my time at William Paterson, I had many assignments to create packaging for products and brands, such as storefront SKU's, promotional shopping bags, and premium product packaging. All while thinking of the interaction between the packaging, the product and the customer.
